Our vision system consists of two main parts: optical system and nervous system. The optical part consists mainly of the cornea, lens, eye globe and retina. This app check the optic part.
If there are different problems such as: turbidity in lens or in cornea, problems in globe fluid, rupture of the retina, deformation of any part of the optic system - the app will detect them.
Many situations and diseases that might affect the eye structure and functionality, such as: diabetes, cataract, keratoconus, damage caused by drugs, and obviously by age can be detected by this app.
In a regular check, the patient should be treated with pupil dilation drug prior to testing to enlarge , while it is needless with this app. In addition, this app is available, cheap and efficient.
As in every medical check, it is required to perform also this check in optimal conditions, that are simple (described in the app).
The check is easy to use and friendly. After several trials anyone can understand the principle and get reliable results.
The app includes a correction mechanism that correct inaccurate operation, such as distance from subject and adjustment of checked area.
The results are presented in four levels: excellent, very good, good and weak, as well as by numeric value representing the precise status for future comparison.
